What if I think one of the questions is wrong?
We work hard to make sure that our list of questions is accurate and up to date, but we are also only human so do sometimes make mistakes. We are always grateful to hear from our customers who think they have found an error because it means we can fix it.
If you think you have found a problem with one of our questions in the practice tests then the first thing to do is to check our Resources section to make sure it isn't something we already know about. There are two reasons for this. One is that parts of the test are out of date, so the question looks wrong. The second is that some of the questions and facts are very confusing - this is sometimes intentional, because they are meant to be like the real test.
The first place to look is our post, Keeping the Life in the UK Test up to date. This post contains a list of all of the facts in the official study materials which have become out of date since they were published. If you know something asked in a question is wrong, you may be right. However, because the test is out of date you need to learn the facts as reproduced in the study materials.
The second is our port, Confusing facts in the study materials. This post contains things you need to learn that are simply difficult to understand. Sometimes you may not be able to see why a question is wrong, this post will help you understand why.
In order for us to help you we will need as much information as possible so please include the following in your message:
- The full text of the question
- The possible answers offered
- What you think the correct answer is
